Are you looking for a few new beading project ideas? If you’ve never ventured into the realm of Swarovski crystal beads, you’re missing out on some seriously swanky-looking yet surprisingly affordable designs. What new items might you add to your inventory or gift options this year?
Swarovski Pearl and Crystal Bracelets
These frosty tones of Swarovski pearls and shimmering clear crystals give these bracelets a cool, wintry appeal. To make this bracelet, you’ll need a strip of jewelry wire cut to a 10-inch length. Next, slide a crimp bead/smasher onto the end of the jewelry wire. Follow the crimp bead/smasher with a jump ring, attaching it to half of the clasp. Bring the wire back through the tube, then fix it into place with crimping wires, hiding it with a crimp cover. Use the following pattern for the design:
Your choice of Bali silver spacers
- Your favorite shade of 8mm Swarovski curved pearls or round pearls
- Another Bali silver spacer
- One cream or white Swarovski curved or round pearl
- A Bali silver spacer and ring spacer
- One 10mm Swarovski round beads in Crystal AB
- A Bali silver spacer and ring spacer
- One cream or white Swarovski curved or round pearl
For a more wintry feel, choose cool blue or grey tones. When complete, slide a crimp bead/smasher onto the end of the jewelry wire. Follow the crimp bead/smasher with a jump ring, attaching it to half of the clasp. Bring the wire back through the tube, then fix it into place with crimping wires, hiding it with a crimp cover.
Swarovski Dangle Earrings
These simply designed yet stunning earrings feature Swarovski rondelles and balls and are sure to be a conversation starter this season. Graduating sizing and sparkling Swarovski crystals capture the eye.
Begin with a coiled gold-filled earwire.
- Add one 12mm Silver Shade Swarovski Briolette, making a wrap looped at the bead’s top to create a briolette link.
- Slide your choice of 5-8mm Swarovski rhinestone ball onto an eye pin, making a simple loop at the top and attaching it to your briolette link. A similarly sized Swarovski crystal round pearl may also be used.
- Finish with a 2mm gold-filled round bead, attaching it to the briolette link.
- Repeat the steps for the second earring.
Change up bead colors or metals, using silver or rose gold for a fresh take on the design.

Can Swarovski Jewelry be worn every day? Swarovski lovers know there’s never a wrong time to showcase your shimmering jewelry. Swarovski crystal jewelry pairs as beautifully with casual attire as it does with evening wear. But how often is too often when it comes to donning your jewelry?
Wearing Swarovski Rings at Home
Sporting a planet-sized Swarovski crystal ring and matching Swarovski crystal heart pendant while you’re ambling around your home is probably not high on your to-do list. But there are plenty of simple, smaller designs perfect for everyday at-home wear. While the composition of gold-filled and sterling silver ring designs withstand daily wear-and-tear, Swarovski crystals are best kept away from water. Clear stoned rings stand up to handwashing, but it’s best to remove your rings before doing the dishes or other cleaning tasks requiring the submersion of your hands in water and cleaning chemicals.
Larger Swarovski crystal stones, colored crystals, and crystals with surface effects and coatings are best removed before contact with water, including hand washing. If your rings do get dull or dirty, you can refresh them with a quick wash in lukewarm water and a couple of drops of mild soap. Dry it thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid commercial jewelry cleaners and sonic cleaning devices, which are too rough for your carefully crafted Swarovski components.
Wearing Swarovski Rings at Work
Dying to wear your Swarovski rings to work? Dress codes vary by industry, from nearly non-existent to policies in which larger, flashier Swarovski rings are not appropriate. In this case, smaller, more conservative ring styles such as monotone and rose gold bead designs offer a more understated yet nevertheless beautiful option.
Wearing Swarovski Rings on the Go
Swarovski crystal jewelry is the ideal travel companion, and a great alternative to risking irreplaceable heirloom pieces on the road. Swap out your engagement ring for a Swarovski stand-in for worry-free travels.
Wearing Swarovski Rings at the Beach
It is perfectly safe to wear your Swarovski rings at the beach, so long as you’re mindful of your activities. Swarovski crystals shine beautifully in the light and are not damaged by the sun. If you plan on building a sandcastle or playing in the waves, however, Swarovski jewelry is best removed to avoid damage from sand and seawater.
Wearing Your Swarovski Rings to Special Events
Swarovski is known for its striking, oversized cocktail rings. They are the perfect complement to evening attire, making a bold statement. Oversized and detailed Swarovski ring designs are best removed before handwashing. A word of caution, however: If your rings have sharp edges, be careful when wearing them with soft fabrics like chiffon and cashmere.

Swarovski Pearls: Realistic Looks at an Unbelievable Price
Those that adore the classic looks of pearls will fall in love with Swarovski crystal pearls. A surprising realistic imitation pearl, Swarovski pearls are a reasonably priced, infinitely more durable alternative to the real thing.
They’ll Never Know
Like genuine cultured pearls, the temperature of Swarovski pearls changes to reflect that of the wearer. Boasting the realistic color, luster, and feel jewelry lovers cherish in genuine pearls. Whether used to create classic necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, or bridalwear, Swarovski crystal pearls are hard to tell apart.
How Swarovski Crystal Pearls are Made
Each Swarovski pearl begins with a genuine Swarovski crystal bead at its center, giving it the perfect size and weight. This crystal base sets these imitation pearls apart, giving it a more luminous appearance than plastic imitation pearls, with a flawless surface and perfect curves. Each crystal sphere is layered with several coats of mother of pearl, creating a surprisingly realistic imitation.
Telling the Difference Between Swarovski Pearls, Genuine Pearls & Other Imitators
Without attempting to chisel off the coating – which we would not recommend – it is extremely difficult to tell the difference between Swarovski crystal pearls and genuine pearls. Knock-off Swarovski pearls are much easier to sight. Simply look for signs of uneven shape and coloration, rough surfacing or surface imperfections, and stones that are easily scratched. Fortunately, it’s easy to ensure you’re purchasing genuine Swarovski pearls: Purchase them from a verified wholesaler/, like Crystal Findings.
Advantages of Swarovski Simulated Pearls
Unlike plastic imitation pearls, which quickly lose their costing with contact with perspiration or perfume, and easily scratch, Swarovski pearls are washable and resistant to such damage.
Dozens of Pearl Colors
Swarovski crystal pearls can in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors, mimicking genuine pearls, from classic white and gold, to the rare black pearl and stunning luminescent hues of deep brown, rose, greens, and blues. Metallic pearlized designs are also popular, in shades of gold, bronze, copper, and antique brass. Crystal Findings offers a variety of popular styles and sizes, including:
