Description
When you know how to choose the right crimp bead size, you ensure a clean, professional finish for your jewelry design and you achieve a more efficient use of your materials and supplies. First, calculate how many times your wire or cord will need to pass through the crimp bead. Multiply the outside diameter of the wire or cord by the number of times you will pass it through the crimp.
For Example: If the diameter of the wire is 0.013″ and the wire will pass through the crimp bead twice, the inside diameter of the crimp must be slightly larger than 0.026″ (0.013″ X 2 = 0.026″)
