Made in Germany. These pendants, also known as crystal painting pendants, or reverse carved pendants are miniature works of art. Each hand-pressed glass piece features a smooth buff top through which you can see a detailed intaglio image, molded into the back of the stone. The intaglio carving is then painted or coated, and the surrounding surface is cut or polished to remove excess color and highlight the image.
